Lunch returns to Portland’s only rooftop loungeTop of the East begins lunch service in AprilPortland, ME – April 11, 2007 The Eastland Park Hotel, celebrating 80 years in the Arts District of Portland, Maine, has brought lunch back to Top of the East. On April 11th, Portland’s only rooftop lounge, with sweeping views of Portland and Casco Bay, began serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Besides full bar service, the lunch menu with selections from 157 Café, also at the Eastland, will is perfect for business or pleasure. Chef Jeff Souter’s daily specials, mouth watering flatbreads, and signature lobster cakes may be enjoyed overlooking the Back Cove, Old Port, and downtown Portland. Lunch entrees start at $8 each, so prices are not over the top. Each evening, Top of the East offers specialty drinks including Chocolate Martinis, and weeknight Happy Hour drink specials, with amazing views of sunset over the lights of Portland. 157 Café at the Eastland specializes in local seasonal offerings, specializing in Prime Rib and seafood, and art from local artists.
